Results of hatching and rearing broiler chickens in different incubation systems

چکیده
Hatchery efficiency is based on hatchability and the number of salable chicks. The hatchery sector has been seeking new alternatives to optimize production rates, including use different systems (multistage [MS] or single-stage [SS] machines) improve incubation conditions. present study aimed compare results for hatchability, chick quality, broiler performance chicks from 2 incubator systems-MS SS. experimental design hatch window, egg weight loss, variables was completely randomized with treatments (MS SS). Performance were analyzed as a x factorial arrangement (incubator type sex). Egg loss between transfer higher eggs incubated in MS (P 0.05). Incubator did not affect any studied ages (P > 0.05), whereas male broilers had better than females (P < 0.05). SS system proved at meeting embryo requirements during development, hatching rates although influenced by type.

Earlier hatching time predisposes Cobb broiler chickens to tibial dyschondroplasia.
Fertile eggs from Cobb 500 broiler breeder hens were incubated to provide low starting egg shell temperatures (EST; 36.9°C to 37.3°C) which were gradually increased to 37.8°C during the first 7 to 15 days of incubation compared with eggs incubated with a constant EST of 37.8°C (standard conditions) over the first 18 days of incubation. Time of individual chick hatching (measured at 6 h interval...
متن کاملAlbumen height and yolk and embryo compositions in broiler hatching eggs during incubation.
The relationship of albumen height (AH) to the compositions of yolks and embryos in hatching eggs from a young (30 wk of age) broiler breeder flock was evaluated during incubation. On Day 2 of incubation, egg weight, yolk weight, and yolk moisture, lipid, and fatty acid contents were determined in eggs from broiler breeders previously identified as laying eggs of either low or high AH. In addit...
متن کاملEffects of different hatcher temperatures on hatching traits of broiler embryos during the last five days of incubation
This study deals with the effects of different hatcher temperatures on hatching traits in modern commercial broiler eggs during the last five days of incubation. The hatching eggs were obtained from a 52wk old (Ross 308) flock. All eggs were distributed randomly into one incubator and incubated for 17 d using uniform conditions (37.6 ± 0.5 °C and 58% relative humidity). At the start of 18 days ...
متن کاملPost-hatching ontogeny of intestinal proton-coupled folate transporter and reduced folate carrier in broiler chickens.
Folate transporters, including the reduced folate carrier and the proton-coupled folate transporter, encoded by Slc19a1 and Slc46a1 genes respectively, play important roles in the transport of folate across biological membranes given the hydrophilic nature of folates. Although a number of studies have demonstrated that these two transporters are regulated ontogenetically in mammals, little data...
متن کاملEffect of Different Levels of Germinated Barley on Live Performance and Carcass Traits in Broiler Chickens
An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of germinated barley (GB) on live performance and carcass traits in broiler chickens. The experiment lasted for 5 weeks starting from 7 days of age and ending at 42 days of age. Chicks (Ross 308) were fed six dietary treatments including a corn–soy diet (corn diet), a barley–soy diet (barley diet), a barley diet plus enzymes...
